AI & Data Readiness Assessment

Build your AI plans on a clearer baseline.

Understand your organisation’s reported strengths, potential gaps and alignment before deciding where to invest, what to implement or what to examine more closely.

FRF’s assessment brings together organisational perspectives across seven dimensions of readiness, establishing a starting point for your next AI move.

The assessment

Readiness goes beyond the technology

Introducing AI depends on how your organisation makes decisions, manages data, develops people and governs its use.

RA7 examines reported practice across seven connected dimensions:

  1. 01

    Strategy & Value Discipline

  2. 02

    Data Foundations

  3. 03

    Technology & Delivery

  4. 04

    People & Ways of Working

  5. 05

    Governance, Risk & Trust

  6. 06

    Adoption & Value Capture

  7. 07

    Future Readiness

  8. Readiness across seven dimensions

Corporate and individual readiness

Readiness at different scales

Corporate AI readiness

Bring together perspectives from across your organisation to establish a shared starting point.

FRF arranges a company campaign. Invited participants complete the assessment individually, while company administrators or facilitators coordinate participation and monitor progress.

Individual AI readiness

Explore your own AI readiness using the same questionnaire.

Individuals answer the same questions across the seven dimensions. The results reflect their own answers rather than an organisational view.

How it works

A straightforward process

  1. Two people in front of a large AI visualisation, with a laptop in the foreground
    Step 01

    Set up your campaign

FRF creates your organisation’s assessment campaign. Your company administrators or facilitators coordinate participation.

  2. Two colleagues working together at a computer
    Step 02

    Gather perspectives

Invited participants sign in through their own accounts and answer questions about current organisational practice.

  3. A person typing on a laptop in front of a blue AI display
    Step 03

    Review the findings

FRF reviews the submissions, scoring and report before sharing the organisational findings.

Company administrators and facilitators can monitor progress but cannot see individual answers. Authorised FRF personnel can access individual answers during review.

What you receive

Your baseline. Its implications. Where to look next.

An FRF reviewed organisational report brings the findings together, helping your leadership team understand the starting point and frame the next conversation.

Readiness profile

Results across seven dimensions, showing reported strengths, limitations and uneven development. An overall score is included where sufficient information is available.

Concerns requiring attention

Potential weaknesses and material uncertainties that deserve examination, even when other results appear strong.

Alignment and visibility

Where participants’ accounts agree, where they differ and where knowledge is limited. These patterns help frame questions about shared understanding and organisational practice.

Priorities for deeper investigation

A focused agenda for a subsequent audit, identifying what needs examination, why it matters and the evidence required.

Findings reflect participants’ answers about reported practice. The assessment is not an audit, certification, independent verification or benchmark against other organisations.

What comes next

A starting point for the wider AI journey

Your assessment helps establish what to examine next. Depending on your organisation’s needs, the journey may continue through:

  1. 1
    Stage 1

    Focused audit

Examine relevant evidence to verify or challenge the reported baseline.

  2. 2
    Stage 2

    AI opportunity mapping

Explore where AI could address organisational needs and create value.

  3. 3
    Stage 3

    Implementation

Develop and deliver agreed initiatives with appropriate ownership and controls.

  4. 4
    Stage 4

    Reassessment

Revisit readiness as capabilities, practices and organisational needs evolve.

    Cycle continues

These are separate activities, with scope agreed according to your organisation’s findings and priorities.
